Kashmir-11If there is place that has been hailed as paradise on Earth… it is Kashmir. This was the words that the Mughal Emperor Jahangir used to describe this enchanting place. Today this beautiful valley is actually torn by terrorism and a lot of other problems. Still, it is a wondrous place for sightseeing and if you plan to honeymoon here, it is best to go and visit a select few places in which you can feel safe and without any problems. One place that is a must see in Kashmir is Gulmarg. Located in the Baramulla District of Kashmir, this is the meadow of flowers. It offers some of the most spectacular views of the surrounding vicinities, as it is situated at an elevation of 2730 meters. It is also the place where winter sports are held every year. Another charming place to visit is the Nishat bagh, which lies in the town of Bandipore. Kashmir has numerous hotels and resort that offer quality packages for guests and tourists. You can get good discounts for opting to stay in certain hotels and resorts. Kashmir is also well-known for its religious spots like the Amarnath Cave, Hazratbal Shrine, Jama Masjid Shopian and Chhatti Padshahi Gurudwara.
